Edinburgh Previews : Pippa Evans and Gary Colman.

Pippa Evans returns from winning an Olivier (Showstopper! The Improvised Musical), some bits on TV (Drunk History, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled) and a sitcom on BBC Radio 4 (Josh Howie’s Loosing It) to tell jokes and sing at you. Come join Chortle’s Music and Variety Act of 2016 for more marvellous ‘inspirtainment’.

“You’ll be grinning for the rest of the day” Guardian.

Gary Colman: Gary isn’t as rough as he looks… to be honest… that would be fairly difficult. Tony Blair famously said “we’re all middle class now”… confirming that he was (a) an idiot (b) never been to Gateshead. And when this Geordie chancer fell for beautiful southern debutant it proved to be not so much a marriage as an act of class warfare. A fifth in the highly acclaimed series of joyous, upbeat shows about the crushing banality of family life from “the best deadpan act since Jack Dee” (GQ) “Seasoned gag-smith with a sharp eye for the absurdities of family life” (Evening Standard) “A great stand-up show from an utterly charming performer” (Time Out).
