Moseley Festival

We’ve come up with a list of a few ideas for Moseley Festival 2010. The idea is to support any group or individual to put something on during the event, so please add your own!

Also, do bear in mind that these are ideas, rather than specific requests to particular groups, or definite events.

What we know

1. Festival 2010 will run Friday 25 June – Sun 4th July.
2. Farmers market and street fair to run in first weekend
3. Prince of Wales planning a number of events again for 2010
4. Moseley Park will have Open Days 26 and 27.
5. Moseley Folk are planning to put on a Jazz event in the park 3/4 July, and will badge it as part of the Festival.
6. Gallery of Owls will probably do another birds of prey day on Sunday 27 June. Hoping for more art and more child friendly activities if they can get more funding.
7. Bohemian Jukebox looking at a couple of events
8. Rich Batsford will possibly do Music by Candlelight again
9. Art Trail to run again, more artists concentrated into fewer venues
10. Moseley Society art competition/exhibition to run again
11. St Marys Choir and Singers will put something on again
12. Offer to put on a cricket competition
13. Moseley RFC could be used as a venue – alternative world cup?
14. Queensbridge Festival to take place on 26th.
15. Moseley in Bloom Open Gardens to happen at Festival time
16. Ginger Fest II planned
17. More children’s events desired
18. Moseley RFC can be used as a venue for events
